As far as fabrics are concerned, preference is given to fashion imbued with a touch of British humour: a prevalence of fine patterns and plays of accessories, plus impressive non solid colours and elegant stripes together with an established use of fenestrated and tartan checks for fine shirting cottons.
Sharp black and white, or black and colours, contrasts add sap to optic motifs or irregular geometrics. Prints will be found, in a suitable wintry palette, on smooth silks and chiffon, while light printed cottons will be distinguished by micro-geometrics.
